Pandora is relaunching its Pandora ME collection with a little help from favorite Gen Z icons including TikTok star and actress Addison Rae, singer Charli XCX, Donte Colley, Beabadoobee and Cecilia Cantarano.
Inspired by the world of music and online culture, the campaign features an exclusive track, SWEAT, by artist Charli XCX, which celebrates individuality, reflecting the distinctive style of each talent.
For Addison, it’s her transformative, DIY style, reflecting her power to defy convention. It is therefore logical that personalization is at the heart of the new collection, allowing the wearer to create a unique style through endless combinations.
From chunky link chain bracelets and necklaces, mono hoop earrings and stackable rings to word links and mini pendants full of symbolism, the Pandora ME range is finished by hand, with pieces that include metals. mixed in sterling silver, 14k rose gold and ruthenium plated unique metal blends, freshwater cultured pearls and vibrant enamels.
Here Addison talks about her cool new gig.
What inspired you to partner with Pandora to relaunch the Pandora ME collection?
As soon as I heard about the concept of Pandora ME, I became aware of it. It is about inspiring individuality and allowing everyone to express who they are, while being part of a community linked by values ââand interests. Pandora chose music to inspire this connected individuality, which I find super cool. And considering that music is such a big part of my life and my song ‘Obsessed’ is about self-esteem, it just felt so natural to work on it.
What is your favorite piece from the collection?
There are so many options that it’s hard to choose one! That’s what’s great about this collection – limitless style options to inspire and represent our many facets, which I think is important to people my age. But I love the Pandora ME Necklace because it’s so versatile and I can customize it based on how I’m feeling that day. In the countryside you can see how I mixed it up and wrapped around my wrist for a layered look.
What is your advice for the younger generation and how can they make a difference in the world they live in?
I would say they need to stay true to themselves and find a close circle of friends, family and mentors who keep them grounded and inspire them to achieve great things!
Other than music and dance, how do you express who you are?
Music and dancing are my passions, but I enjoy expressing myself online, through theater, in-depth discussions on my podcast and experimenting with my creativity through my company ITEM BEAUTY. I always try to focus on enjoying what I’m doing no matter what. Staying true to my own opinions, style and personality is paramount to me.
How do you describe your style?
My style is quite varied as it is usually based on how I want to feel that day. Since moving to LA I’ve been going out a lot more, so a lot of the pieces in my wardrobe can be easily mixed and matched. Right now, I love the 2000s style and I’m obsessed with cute accessories to personalize outfits. I think you can definitely go all out with jewelry, bags, and shoes. Whether it’s running around town, going to Pilates, or going to a party, it’s fun to be unexpected and let everyone guess.
